Vera is the CEO and Owner of Macvelly Wellness and Medical Services. A board certified family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. With years of experience as a critical care registered and a family nurse practitioner across various settings, she has gained the experience in providing compassionate, holistic, and high quality care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. 

Vera earned her Bachelors degree in Nursing from the Lubbock Christian University in Texas and graduated with honors from the University of Texas Arlington as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020.

She is very passionate and dedicated about revitalizing the health and wellness of her patients, helping them achieve optimal health and wellbeing through preventive care, lifestyle changes and using the latest evidence based methods to help them achieve weight loss and wellness goals. Her goal is to educate patients on how to achieve a healthy lifestyle and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases. She encourages her patients to have an active role in their healthcare. She is a Certified Weight Management Provider (CWMP) through the International Association For Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. Vera is a wellness advocate and received a certificate from Harvard Medical School for 'Health and Wellness: Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan,' focused on the Six Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine. She has also completed specialized training in nutrition and hormone replacement therapies.
