Below are some of the most frequently asked questions. Do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions or concerns you may have. 

Question:  Do you accept insurance?
Answer: No, we are currently not accepting any insurance. You can file a claim with your insurance provider; however, we cannot guarantee you would be reimbursed.

Question: Could you explain why insurance is not accepted:

Answer: Not participating in insurance programs allows us to prioritize and render high-quality care, crafted to meet your precise health needs. The constraints imposed by insurance companies on treatment types and durations can impede effective care delivery; whereas our cash-based and membership model reduces administrative burdens, facilitating more in-depth patient-provider interactions and access to cutting-edge specialized treatments.

Question: How do I pay for my visit?
Answer: We are currently accepting all major credit and debit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, etc.). We expect payments to be made at the time of your visit.
Question: Can I use my insurance to pay for medications prescribed?
Answer: Please contact your pharmacy directly to inquire about insurance coverage for your medications.

Question: What if I require specialist ?

Answer: Our office would arrange for the referral to be coordinated through your insurance network, and billing will be handled accordingly with your insurance company.

Question: Do you Treat Chronic Pain?

Answer: No, We do not manage chronic pain. Please note that our practice may not be the best fit for those with chronic pain on opioid medication; a pain specialist will be more suitable.

Question: Do you issue prescriptions for controlled substances?

Answer: Our approach is case-specific, and we generally do not prescribe opiates for chronic pain management. 

Question:  Do I still need health insurance if I join your practice?

Answer: We strongly maintaining health insurance coverage for specialized laboratory tests, imaging services, specialized care, and potential hospitalizations.

Question: Do you accept Medicaid & Medicare Patients?

Answer: We are happy to accept all patients; however, Medicaid/Medicare does not cover the monthly costs of my care. To ensure compliance, you will be required to sign a waiver stating that neither party will bill Medicaid/Medicare for my services. Rest assured, this arrangement does not affect your eligibility for Medicaid/Medicare coverage regarding laboratory tests, imaging services, specialist consultations, and hospitalizations. 

Question: What geographical Areas do you serve?
Answer: Our office is located in Liberty Lake, Washington States-serving Spokane, WA and surrounding areas. We are currently licensed to provide Telehealth/Virtual services to residents of Idaho, Washington, and Texas.

Question: Are medications and labs included in the consultation fee? 
Answer: No. Medications and labs are not included in the consultation fee. However, if you do choose one of our membership plans, your medications and labs would be included.

Question: What age range do you serve? 
Answer: We are currently offering services to patients 0-65+ years of age.

Question: What type of healthcare practitioner would you see during my visit?
Answer: You will be seeing a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner during your visit. Nurse practitioners are highly trained, licensed, and independent healthcare professionals who concentrate on providing high quality care, managing patient’s health conditions by providing treatment to injuries and illnesses and supporting disease prevention.

Question: How does Macvelly Wellness & Medical Services differ from other healthcare clinics?

Answer: Macvelly Wellness and Medical Services healthcare method stands out for its intense focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of health issues, rather than solely treating symptoms. Our clinician uses evidence-based, whole-person, and lifestyle modifications in managing various healthcare conditions. Our model of providing care with 60-75 minutes longer appointment helps provider and patient focus on lifestyle changes, preventive care, and wellness, creating comprehensive and individualized plans. By operating on a cash-based and membership model, we can allocate additional time to each patient, delivery state-of-art treatments and customized services tailored to meet the unique needs of our executive clients. Members enjoy 24/7 access to their healthcare provider, even on holidays.

Question: Do you provide interpreters services to patients who don’t speak English? 
Answer: No, we currently do not provide interpreters services at this time.
